Each song is a reflection of some place/story of my early years; learning, growing, and living in a large desert city.

1| The sun rises slowly in the east bringing life to the valley below. A new day, with all its commotion.

2| The goose leaves its place of rest to provide for it's own. Meanwhile, a boy finds comfort in a nearby field.

3| The road home each day was never easy; unbearable at times.

4| Refuge is found. The smell of grass and pine. Time stands still, as the world grows distant.

5| A rise, a fall. Defeated, the bird takes flight; its path and potential increasing with each attempt.

6| The boy, longing to be free as the bird, finds solace. Friendship is freedom.

7| Betrayal. The goose, the bird, the boy no more. Day fades...

8| Like the setting sun, we lay to rest. As for tomorrow, only dream and wish will tell. Yet still there stays our home, our place. Remember...
